اسمي "صالحة"، أنا من مدرسة (عرب الجهالين)، أعيش في خيمة صغيرة في (وادي أبو هندي)، عمري 14 سنة. في النهار أدرس في مدرسة القصب، وقد صنعوها من القصب لأن الجنود أعلنوا أن أرضنا منطقة عسكرية مغلقة، حيث يتدربون على إطلاق النار في منطقة الزراعة.

يعيش معنا... في الخيمة سبعون نعجة، وأقوم أنا بحلبها بعد أن أعود من المدرسة، وأصنع الجُبن ثم أبيعه لأهل المدينة.

الطريق هنا وعرة لأن الجنود يمنعونا من تعبيد الطريق، ويتدربون على إطلاق النار في الليل، وأنا أكره صوت الرصاص، أكاد أجن منه، فأهرب، نعم أهرب!

لا يوجد لديَّ دراجة هوائية، لأن الطريق وعرة، ولا سيارة عندي ولا طيارة، لكن عندي شيء أستخدمه للهروب. اقتربوا، اقتربوا، سأوشوشكم سراً، عندي خروف يطير اسمه "حنتوش"، لونه أسود وأُذناه طويلتان، له جناحان سريّان يُخبئهما داخل الصوف، ويُخرجهما حين أهمس في أذنيه "يا حنتوش يا خروف أطلع جناحيك من تحت الصوف" أغني في أذنيه، فيما يبدأ الجنود بالتدرب على إطلاق الرصاص، وأركبه ويطير بي...، والبارحة هربنا إلى برشلونة!

سنقول لكم شيئاً، في (وادي أبو هندي) لا يوجد ملاعب أصلاً، لأن الأرض مزروعة بالألغام. وفي (برشلونة) قابلنا "ميسي" صاحب الأهداف الكبيرة، لعبنا معه لساعات طويلة، خروفي "حنتوش" كان واقفاً حارساً للمرمى، وأنا أُهاجم "ميسي" وفريقه...، أدخلنا في مرماهم خمسة أهداف! أراد "ميسي" أن يضمني أنا و"حنتوش" إلى فريق (برشلونة) لكننا رفضنا، نريد أن نعود إلى (أبو هندي) لأن الأغنام هناك تنتظرني، فلا يذهب أحد غيري ليحلبها، فأبي في السجن منذ ست سنوات وبقي له تسع عشرة سنة. سأقول لكم سراً: أخبرني "ميسي" أنه سيزور (وادي أبو هندي) بعد سنتين! سنُقيم مونديال 2014 في (وادي أبو هندي)، سنُنظف معاً الأرض من الألغام، وسنبني أكبر ملعب في العالم، وسنُسميه "ملعب حنتوش"، وسيكون الخروف شعار المونديال!

وأهلاً وهلاً بكم جميعاً في (وادي أبو هندي)، نحن جميعاً بانتظاركم!

My name is Saleha. I go to the school of Arab Al Jahalin. I live in a small tent in Abu Hindi Valley. I am 14 yours old. During the day I go to the School that is built of reeds. They made it of reeds because the soldiers announced our land is a closed military zone, where they train on fire shooting in the area where we grow our plants.

 

Living with us in the tent some seventy sheep and I milk them after I come back from school and make cheese and then sell it to the people in the city.

 

The roads here are harsh and bumpy because soldiers stop us from paving the road. I hate the sound of bullets which scares me and make me almost crazy and think to run away every time they do it, yes I think to run away.

 

I cannot not have a bicycle, because of the bumpy road, and I have no car or plane, but I have something to use it to escape. I have a special sheep that can fly named “Hantoush”. Its wool color is black with two long ears. He has secret wings that he hides inside his wool. He spreads them out only when I whisper to his ears. I say in a singing tone to his ears: “O Hantoush, O Lamb spread your wings that are under wool”. I say this to his ears every time the soldiers start training shooting bullets and rockets. I ride my lamb and he flies up carrying me away…. And yesterday we flied running away from shooting to Barcelona. I want to tell you something else people. We have no playing fields because all our lands in the valley of Abu Hindi in south Palestine are littered with killing landmines. In Barcelona my lamb and I met Meessi the goals great maker. We played with him for long hours. My lamb “Hantoush” was taking the place of a goaldkeeper and I myself attacking the Messi and his team…. My lamb and I have won and introduced five goals! Missy wanted me and my lamb Hantoush to play with his Barcelona team, but we refused, simply because we wanted to go back to the Abu Hindi where my sheep cattle are all waiting for me. No one else there to milk them. My father is in prison six years ago and he has to stay there for another nineteen years. Again I’ll tell you another secret people. Messi told me that he will visit Abu Hindi Valley after two years. We will make the World Cup Mondial of the 2014 in Wadi Abu Hindi. We together shall clear the landmines and we shall build the biggest stadium in the world and name it “The Stadium of Hantoush” with the image of the lamb will be the world cup logo.
